چکیده
Introduction: Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) is most common type of scolisis which affecting girls more than boys. Affecting children between age 10 to18. AIS curves progress during radip growth period child. Locate usually at thoracic level and involves right convex curve. Due to cosmetic reasons, pain in some cases due neurological involvement such needs operative involvement. In this study 20 patients operated with posterior spinal approach fixation for the same followed up one months radiographic clinical outcomes.Materials Methods: out 5 male 15 female were managed pedicle screws instrumentations follow-up various criteria regarding its outcomes as postoperative relief, cobb’s angle, average insertion, fixation, mean duration surgery, blood loss, post complications deficit, infection or implant failure. Results: was done on patient. Most lenke’s curve Type-1. Average Pre VAS score 8.5 that Reduced 1.9 Post operative. angle all 57.15 11.65 operative, after 1 year 17.2 degrees. So loss correction 5.55. screw needed 15.6. Range minimum 12 maximum 19 required fixation. 1.35 fixed per vertebrae. basically, it low density surgery time 6 hours 25 minutes. from max 9 hours. Mean 16.1. 773.5 mL. patient developed deficit progressively recovered within six months, no other significant complication any observed. Conclusion: Based upon results obtained review we suggest all-screw method efficient safe. The three-dimensional are satisfactory comparable. The maintenance good minimal correction. Compared age-matched healthy populations, these did present limitations their physical health, assessed by SRS-30 questionnaire.

INTRODUCTION The aim of this prospective case series study is to document safety and effectiveness of high density pedicle screws through posterior only approach with intraoperative wake-up test in correction of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). METHODS Between 2011 and 2015, all surgically treated patients for AIS were followed up for a minimum of 2 years. Clinical outcomes were evaluat...
متن کاملResults of ultrasound-assisted brace casting for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
BACKGROUND Four factors have been reported to affect brace treatment outcome: (1) growth or curve based risk, (2) the in-brace correction, (3) the brace wear quantity, and (4) the brace wear quality. The quality of brace design affects the in-brace correction and comfort which indirectly affects the brace wear quantity and quality. This paper reported the immediate benefits and results on using...
متن کاملExercises for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
BACKGROUND Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is a three-dimensional deformity of the spine . While AIS can progress during growth and cause a surface deformity, it is usually not symptomatic. However, in adulthood, if the final spinal curvature surpasses a certain critical threshold, the risk of health problems and curve progression is increased. The use of scoliosis-specific exercises (SSE...

distal junctional kyphosis (djk) is a radiographic finding in patients that undergo spinal instrumentation and fusion, since there is an abrupt transition between fixed and mobile spinal segments.the true incidence of djk is variable in literature and seems that has a multifactorial etiology. a consecutive series of 130 patients (mean age 15.6 years) with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis who und...
